Meet the visionary who started it all — Sharita Mullen, the founder of Reckless Beauty

Sharita Mullen — the driving force behind Reckless Beauty — has years of experience in the beauty industry and a list of impressive accomplishments under her belt. She has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 2002, as well as the owner and Master Stylist of Reckless Beauty since 2012.
​
​Following years of training and graduation from the Cosmetology Career Center-Paul Mitchell School, she has expanded her expertise to serve clients in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
​
In 2018, she earned another designation through The International Association of Trichologists, becoming a Certified Trichologist. So, in addition to being a certified Cosmetologist and a highly skilled stylist, she is also a Certified Trichologist and is qualified to treat and diagnose hair and scalp conditions, vitamin deficiencies, and scalp diseases — making her a powerful voice in the world of hair and beauty.

In 2024 she became a Certified Nutritional Coach through Precision Nutrition.

Sharita believes that nutrition is the key to healthy hair, body, and mind, being a Certified Nutrition Coach better helps her educate her clients on nutrition, food behavior changes, diet to help them achieve their hair goals.

Sharita is passionate about empowering her clients through her craft by teaching them the essential hair care practices they need to maintain healthy hair and scalp and protect their natural hair from damage. She also shares her wisdom on how clients can manage their hair at home in between salon visits, such as proper styling techniques and the best hairstyles for their hair type.
